- In general, it's a good idea to say "will <Program Name> <Version> do
- <Thing I'm After>". The first DiskSalv release was over 10 years
- ago. There have been many different releases since then, both
- shareware and commercial.

- Given your lack of docs, I'll assume shareware. If you're running
- under 2.04 or later, download DiskSalv 2 (V11.32) from AmiNet or any
- number of other contact points. While command line stuff still works,
- DS2 is GUI based and fairly self-explanatory. If you get the official
- release, you get an archive containing the docs as well, at least
- simple ones that look nice on paper when copied to PRT:. If you're
- running 1.3 or earlier, DiskSalv 1.42 is the latest, that's
- CLI-only. It supports hard disks, and your choice of OFS or FFS,
- though it doesn't understand thinks like links, which came along
- later.
